DigiBiz Network

Join the community & participate in the increased impact of digitilisation on small business growth

What is DigiBiz?

DigiBiz is a collaboration between various committed people involved in the small business ecosystem and the programme team from the Entrepreneurial Planning Institute, the University of the Western Cape, and Catalyst for Growth. This is a space where small business owners, entrepreneurs, practitioners who specialise in small business support, researchers and data creators work together on boosting small business growth and innovation in South Africa. It is funded by the Research and Innovation Systems for Africa (RISA) Fund, a programme supported by UK Aid.

This platform is an online space for the DigiBiz Members Network to share information, arrange workshops, schedule online events, publish new content, and exchange experiences.

Why Join & Participate?

In joining the DigiBiz Members Network, you will be able to share your experiences and gain insights with direct application to your role as an entrepreneur/business owner or as a role-player in the entrepreneurial support ecosystem in South Africa.

Network members have access to information shared on the platform, as well as a month webinar, an online networking/connecting session, and advertised training courses or growth programmes.

Three focused Communities of Practice (CoPs) meet regularly for online workshops to share new insights or content, and to co-create guidelines for best practice. These are:
- Entrepreneurs, Business Owners & Network Organisers;
- Support Practitioners (mentors, coaches, trainers & consultants) & Programme Managers/Executives; and
- Researchers & Data Creators.

You may apply to join the CoP best aligned to your area of focus or send an email with your questions to [email protected].
